Hallmark Insurance Group fosters an environment where you can have fun doing your best work. We also recognize the importance of work-life balance and that you have a life outside your insurance
job. We provide a free Employee Assistance Program, provided through Family Services EAP, the originator of such programming with offices across Canada. As well as a telephone consultation services on many supportive services, free face-to-face counseling is provided on a fully confidential basis. Our Wellness Committee only receives aggregated reports about the usage of this program.
Flexibility, trust, and empowerment define the employee-employer relationship at Hallmark Insurance Group.
We offer staff time off for charitable work and provide flexible leave options (beyond those required by the Family and Medical Leave Act). We are walking distance from the Don Mills subway station, and our office complex includes two cafes and a fitness centre.
Flexible work schedules, including the ability to regularly telecommute, allow members of our customer service teams more control over their professional and personal lives. All of our sales staff, and many of our service brokers as well, are able to access the office systems through our VPN; some have VoIP capability to speak with clients as well.
We use technology to enable our team of insurance producers to easily work from home or on the road, access real-time business information and collaborate with colleagues, corporate insurance customers or home & auto insurance customers at any time and in any place. This helps to create a flexible work environment for our insurance sales team where geographic location and set work hours become less important than responsiveness to clients.
