Specific Postings
Account Executives
Having reviewed our site, you now know that Hallmark is a respected general insurance brokerage located in North York.  We concentrate on the Commercial mid market, multi-line Personal clients as well as Employee Benefits and Financial Planning.

We are looking for highly motivated sales people (both experienced and juniors) to join us as Account Executives for both our Organizational Solutions and Personal Solutions teams.

Sales of Organizational Solutions

1. Cultivate and leverage senior level relationships with clients and prospects to develop new commercial and benefits business within identified niches.
2. Using your industry knowledge, be a trusted advisor to clients to help their businesses grow.
3. Join a team of brokers and administrative personnel who work together to provide exemplary insurance and other value-added services to a group of clients.

Sales of Personal Solutions

1. Selling auto and home insurance products in an inside sales outbound call center environment and life products in clients’ homes or at the office.
2. Engaging new clients from your own referrals, as well as the “rounding up” of a large book of mono-line business.
3. Evaluating risk and ensuring prospective clients meet our underwriting guidelines and those of the many companies we represent.

Qualifications

1. At least one year of insurance sales experience, five years if outside the insurance industry.
2. Valid RIBO or Life license, or eligibility to write exam soon.
3. Knowledge of relevant areas of general or life and benefits insurance.
4. Business development experience and excellent negotiating skills.
5. Proficient computer skills

Compensation

After a systematic training period of three months, during which the draw is guaranteed, Hallmark Account Executives receive a draw against commissions earned, with no maximum.  Commission rates vary between lines of business, but are very competitive with industry benchmarks.
